A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to store. On wpsifero.com they serve three purposes: remembering your consent choice, measuring which articles are read, and letting Google show advertising that funds the site.

Advertising

Google may also set additional cookies from advertising partners, and the exact set can change as the programme evolves. Google maintains the authoritative list in its own documentation.

How consent mode works here

Every page sets Google Consent Mode defaults to denied before any Google script loads. That means advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, analytics storage, functionality storage and personalisation storage all start refused. Only security storage starts granted, because it protects the consent mechanism itself.

If you accept, those signals are updated to granted and the corresponding tags are allowed to set cookies. If you reject, they stay denied and Google receives only cookieless aggregated pings. If you never interact with the banner, they stay denied.

How to change or withdraw your choice

1. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the preference panel and change individual categories.
2. Clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove the stored consent record and see the banner again.
3. Opt out of personalised advertising across all sites at Google Ads Settings.
4. Opt out with participating vendors at aboutads.info.
5. Set your browser to block third-party cookies entirely. The site will still work; only advertising and measurement are affected.
