Three different things on this site carry three different sets of terms. They are separated below so there is no ambiguity about which one applies.
1. Editorial content
Articles, cover graphics and the design of this site are © WPSifero. All rights reserved.
What you may do without asking:
- Quote up to a few paragraphs with attribution and a link to the source article.
- Link to any page, from anywhere, including commercially.
- Print or save an article for your own use.
- Cite an article in documentation, a talk or an academic paper, with attribution.
What requires written permission:
- Republishing an article in full or in substantial part.
- Translating an article and publishing the translation.
- Using the archive to train or fine-tune a commercial machine learning model.
- Redistributing cover graphics away from the article they illustrate.

2. Code samples inside articles
Code shown in an article is published to be used. Unless a sample carries its own notice, you may copy, modify and ship it in your own projects, including commercial ones, with no attribution requirement and no warranty of any kind.
No warranty on samples
Samples are illustration, not library code. They are not maintained, not versioned and not supported. If a sample is worth shipping, rewrite it for your own error handling and test it on your own staging site.
3. WPSifero plugins
WPSifero builds and sells WordPress plugins. Plugin licensing follows the WordPress ecosystem convention: the software is free and open, and what you pay for is updates and support.
- Free edition
- Distributed through the WordPress.org plugin directory under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. You may use, modify and redistribute it under those terms.
- Premium edition
- A commercial licence covering updates, premium features and priority support for the number of sites purchased. Because the plugin is derivative of GPL-licensed WordPress code, the software itself remains GPL; the commercial terms apply to the licence key, the update service and the support commitment, not to the source code.
- Purchases and refunds
- Checkout, invoicing, renewals and refunds are handled by the third-party checkout provider, whose terms are presented at the point of sale and govern the transaction.

4. Third-party assets
Typefaces and any licensed assets are listed with their licences on the credits page. Trademarks mentioned in the archive belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Reporting infringement
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, write to dm@wpsifero.com with the URL, a description of the work, and a statement of your rights to it. Verified claims are actioned promptly, either by adding attribution or by removing the material.
