The terms that govern your use of wpsifero.com, including the limits of the technical information published here and the rules for reusing it.

By reading wpsifero.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the remedy is to stop reading, which is an odd thing to have to write down but is what the clause requires.

What this site is

WPSifero publishes technical articles about WordPress and WooCommerce engineering. It is an editorial publication. It is not a documentation site, not a support desk, and not a substitute for reading the source code of the software you are running.

The information is not professional advice

Articles describe experiments on specific setups. A configuration that improved one store may degrade another. Nothing here is legal, financial, security-audit or compliance advice, and nothing here is a warranty that a described technique will work on your system.

Test before you deploy

Code samples are published for illustration. Run them on a staging copy with a current backup. You are responsible for what you run in production.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to make every article correct at the time of publication, and we correct errors when they are reported. We do not promise that older articles remain accurate after the software they describe changes. Version numbers are stated where they matter, and an article scoped to WooCommerce 8.x should be read as scoped to WooCommerce 8.x.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated means to scrape the site in a way that degrades service for other readers.
  • Attempt to interfere with the site's availability, integrity or security.
  • Republish substantial portions of the archive without permission.
  • Present our content as your own, or remove attribution when quoting.
  • Use the archive to train a commercial machine learning model without a written licence.

Intellectual property

The articles, the cover graphics, the code samples and the design of this site are owned by WPSifero unless stated otherwise. The credits page lists the third-party assets and their licences.

You may quote from an article with clear attribution and a working link. You may not republish an article in full, translate it and publish the translation, or distribute it commercially without written permission. Requests go to dm@wpsifero.com and are usually answered quickly.

Code samples published inside an article are offered under the same terms as the article. If you need a permissive licence for a specific sample, ask.

WordPress is a registered trademark of the WordPress Foundation. WooCommerce is a trademark of Automattic Inc. Other product and company names mentioned in the archive are the trademarks of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and commentary. WPSifero is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

The site links to external resources we think are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices.

WPSifero develops and sells WordPress plugins. Purchases are processed by a third-party checkout provider under its own terms, which are presented at the point of sale and govern the transaction, including refunds and licensing. The editorial content of this site is not part of any product offering.

Where an article discusses a product WPSifero sells, that relationship is disclosed at the top of the article.

Availability

We aim to keep the site reachable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be changed, restructured or taken offline without notice. Article URLs are kept stable where possible; when a page moves, a redirect is left in place.

Limitation of liability
